Southern Amateur Hockey AsSociation

The Southern Amateur Hockey Association, Incorporated (SAHA) is a Georgia not-for-profit corporation exempt from income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). SAHA operates under an Affiliate Agreement with USA Hockey that is renewed annually. SAHA is an affiliate of USA Hockey governing hockey in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee Southern Amateur Hockey Association Mission Statement

• To cost effectively perform under our contract with USA Hockey – which is doing the business of USA Hockey (administer, govern, regulate, promote, and grow the sport of amateur hockey) in our geographical area of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
• To support and assist our member associations as they execute business models to manage, promote and grow amateur hockey.
• To exercise responsible financial stewardship, maintaining financial control and accountability without allowing any individual or association unfair benefit or advantage.
