12&U 2A National Champions!
Atlanta Fire PeeWee 97s win 12 & Under Tier II Conference 2A National Championship in Reston, VA.
The Atlanta Fire PeeWee 97s became the Fire team as well as the first youth tieam from SAHA to win a National Championship. They went 5-0 and had to play some tough competition including the Florida Junior Panthers, the Idaho Steelheads and the Burlington Vermont Bobcats in the final game.
The Fire scored 38 goals against their opponents and allowed only 10 during the tournament.
“I hope they realize that when you work hard, good things happen. I want them all to grow up to be good teammates. When you work together as a team, a national championship is what you can accomplish,” Atlanta coach Scott Pearson said.

Atlanta Jr Knights Selects
USAH Tier III Junior C National Champions!
The Atlanta Jr Knights Selects win the USAH Tier II Junior C national championship. The Knights defeated Suffolk Juniors 4-1 to gain the national title. The Knights trailed early on against Suffolk, a team that had beaten the Knights a day earlier. But the young Knights battled to even the score and then added three third period goals to claim the American Cup for the National Championship.
